Trying to write a description of this novel…
The synopsis part for my NaNo page, but everything I write sounds so lame! lol. I just cannot make this concept sound as cool as it is in my head… I might need to explain it to someone who is not invested and see if they can describe it, because when I try to summarize and be vague I just get all tangled up in run-on sentences and cliches.
Ahhh! I need to find a macbook charger before Monday!
I was prepping for NaNo in October, doing some research and taking notes so in November I could just get busy.
But my laptop charger has been on the fritz. It’d been charging, but intermittently, for a few weeks I’d have to plug and unplug it a few times to get it to a full charge or to keep it running on AC rather than battery. The other day though, I was at like 10% when I opened it and then the charger decided to completely die on me. I used the last of the battery to troubleshoot though Apple’s directions for this problem and nothing was working. I believe I can get a replacement even if the laptop isn’t under warranty, provided there is no accidental damage on my part, but there aren’t any Apple stores real close to me.
Anyway, with my last remaining 2% battery power I compressed my writing folder into a zip file and tried to email it to myself so I would at least have it on my iMac, and the battery died in the middle of yahoo attaching the file! So now I either have to find a new charger by November 1st or I’m just gonna have to start all over and wing it. XD
This just popped up on my dash and it caught my eye because it would make an awesome cover for my NaNoWriMo novel that I’m prepping notes for as I browse Tumblr. Not that I’m planning any of that before I start writing, it just really stood out to me. :)
